The erstwhile Asiwaju Tinubu Presidential Campaign Organisation, ATPCO, has changed the name of the group to” Asiwaju Tinibu Shettima Coalition for Good Governance”.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director General of the group and the Former minister of Communication, Dr Adebayo Shittu and made available to Journalists in Abuja, Nigeria.
Dr Shittu, the erstwhile Director General announced that the change of name of the above named organization to Asiwaju Tinubu-Shettima Coalition For Good Governance is with immediate effect.
He stated that, ” The general public is invited to note that this change of name doesn’t in anyway, affect the foundational mandate of this coalition of more than three hundred support groups, spread across the length and breath of Nigeria,. For emphasis, the mandate includes using various physical, social and digital strategies to campaign vigorously for the election of HE. SEN. [ASIWAJU] BOLA AHMED TINUBU to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023″.
Therefore, we appeal to all our members in particular and the general public to continue to support SEN. BOLA AHMED TINUBU and SEN. KASHIM SHETTIMA in their quest to win next year’s Presidential Election convincingly“, he added.
