2023: YPP Governorship Candidate vows to industrialise Ebonyi State

The  Governorship Candidate of Young People’s Party YPP, Engr Sunday Opoke has promised to create Industries that will be functional day and night in Ebonyi State.

Engr Opoke stated this when he officially defected from People’s Democratic Party PDP to Young People’s Party YPP at the State YPP Secretariat in Abakaliki the State Capital.

Opoke assured Ebonyi people that there will be learning and earning in his administration if he is voted into office in 2023 General Election.

There will be no Rural- Urban migration as every amenity in the Urban will be be replicated for the rural dwellers.

Opoke added that him and all his  supporters numbering thousands decided to join the party, saying it is the place where his ambition of becoming the Governor of the State could be realized.

YPP is service orientation hence their slogan “service to the people”

“Our Government is going to focus on the following: Gospel revolution, reformation of the State civil service, youths reformation, Agricultural emancipation and Industrialization,” Opoke said.

He said Ebonyi State has everything it takes when it comes to mineral resources and “we are going turn all those minerals to wealths for the benefit of Ebonyi People and to the glory of God”.

YPP is going to be a platform where the young people are going to be developed so that the Youths can become the fulfilled elders tomorrow,” he informed.

He was issued with YPP membership cards alongside with his thousand supporters.

The State YPP Chairman, Mr Stanley Oyibe in his reaction said the party deemed it necessary to give Sunday Opoke the Gubernatorial ticket because of the leadership qualities in him.

Oyibe urged all Ebonyi People to vote en mass for the party as the party is ready to take over the leadership of the State in 2023.

The YPP Deputy Governorship Candidate, Barrister Ogbonnaya Sunday said their Government will end corruption in its entirety.

Our Government will boost healthcare delivery in Ebonyi State,” he added.
