The last contingent of Kwara State pilgrims that partook in the 2025 Hajj exercise have arrived at Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin.
Max Airline flight touched down at 10:47 a.m. on Thursday carrying 556 pilgrims, including seven state officials.

The delegation was led by Amirul Hajj and Olupo of Ajase -Ipo, Alhaji Yahaya Ismail Bolaji Alebiosu, the Board Chairman, Professor Mashood Mahmud Jimba, the Executive Secretary, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, Dr. Ahmad Agbaje, Alhaji Mahamud Bube, Chief Account Officer, Hajia Taibat AbdulAhmeed.
In his remarks, the Amirul Hajj and Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Alhaji Yahaya Ismail Bolaji Alebiosu expressed gratitude to the State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his unwavering support throughout the 2025 Hajj exercise.
In his submission, the Board Chairman, Professor Mashood Mahmud Jimba thanked the Almighty Allah for the successful conclusion of the 2025 Hajj exercise while commending the state government for its vital support.
Also speaking, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir applauded Governor AbdulRazaq for his consistent support in ensuring pilgrims’ welfare and smooth operations throughout the Hajj exercise.
This concludes Kwara’s Hajj airlift operations, which transported 2,204 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s pilgrimage.
The final batch’s arrival came a day after the penultimate group of 549 pilgrims returned.
