The second batch of pilgrims from Kwara state, North Central Nigeria that performed this year’s pilgrimage to the Holy Land have returned safely to Ilorin, the state’s capital.
The pilgrims numbering 392 arrived at the Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, at exactly 2:52 pm to the warm welcome of friends and family.
The Pilgrims were led by three officials of the State’s Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Shuaib Kawu, Haruna Musa and Khadijat Abtawwy.
It would be recalled that a total of 3,102 pilgrims from Kwara State performed this year’s holy pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
