National Chairman: Youngest APC aspirant declares intention

Mohammed Saidu Etsu, the youngest APC aspirant who declared his intention for the National Chairmanship position, made a pledge of building a strong internal democracy and quality reward system for party members.

Etsu, at 36 years of age, is the youngest of the 5 contesting for the national  chairmanship seat of APC.

While officially declaring his intention at the headquarters  of  the Party in Niger State North Central Nigeria, he said, “The country is currently in dire need of change and it’s only a young vibrant, visionary who is experienced and non sentimental that can build a party of the Nigerians’ dream.”

The aspirant  who further applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for signing in to law the ‘not too young to run’ bill for the confidence he has on Nigerian youths, however appealed for the support and blessings of the party.

Hon. Haliru Zakari Jikantoro, the Niger State APC chairman, said the party is solely behind the young aspirant. He further urged him to get across to the leader of the party and the state governor, Abubakar Sani Bello for onward confirmation.

Jikantoro encouraged Etsu to focus in his ambition, assured him of the party’s support.

The spokesperson of the group and the State Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Bello Sheriff, while  commending the party leadership in the state, reiterated that youths have contributed immensely to the development and growth of the country and will continue in that regard if given the opportunity to serve considering the agility and strength of the youth.
