The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 34 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
NCDC made the announcement in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 3 states of the federation.
Rivers state recorded the highest with 15 cases, Rivers-15, Lagos-14, Abia-5
According to NCDC, it says,
“Today’s report includes: 17,984 community discharges from Lagos State
“A backlog of discharges from Lagos State from December 2021 till date
“2 States with zero cases reported: Delta, and Sokoto
With the latest report, 254,428 cases have been confirmed, 248, 850 people discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
