Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria to hold convention in Abuja

The Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, BON, in partnership with Broadcast Media Africa and Multichoice Nigeria Limited is set to hold the Broadcasting and Digital Convention in Abuja from the 22nd to 23rd of March, 2022.

A statement signed by the Executive Secretary of BON, Dr Yemisi Bamgbose, which was issued to Voice of Nigeria in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital disclosed that the convention would dovetail into the 76th General Assembly of BON and is expected to address crucial issues surrounding the broadcast industry in the country.

According to Dr Bamgbose, discussions and presentations at the convention would provide a base for practitioners to appreciate the dynamics of the new digital environment by enabling necessary interactions of the different value-chain players.

Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, is expected to preside over the opening ceremony billed to be attended by over two hundred participants from Nigeria and other African countries.
