The Commissioner for Budget and Planning in Kaduna State, Mohammed Sani Dattijo, has unveiled a six-point development plan to reposition the state if given the mandate come 2023.
Dattijo disclosed it during his official declaration at the State secretariat of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Kaduna. He stated reasons he wants to succeed his boss, the Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasiru El-Rufai.

He assured he would drive the state’s economy, secure the lives and properties of the citizenry, invest in people, and build a more innovative, technologically advanced Kaduna state.
Six-point agenda
Dattijo confirmed that the six-point plan was;
“Rural transformation by connecting rural economies to agriculture and solid minerals value chains and also creating a safe and secure environment for livelihoods to thrive;
“Accelerating urban Infrastructure by expanding on the Kaduna urban renewal program;
“Make the State a place that creates economic opportunities for all;
“Building a more competent, technologically advanced Kaduna;
“Streamlining governance;
“leveraging technology to make Kaduna inclusive and ready for a private sector-driven economy.”
Increasing Investments
He promised to create a conducive and inclusive environment for the resilient population through investments in health, education, youth development, and jobs.
“My mission is to attract local and international finance for development by working with developmental partners across the globe to drive the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and ensure we leave behind no demographic.
“My ultimate goal is to make Kaduna a state that is secured, works for everyone, creating an enabling environment for opportunities so that all our residents can thrive,” he stressed.
