Niger State boosts security in 12 LGAs

The Niger State Governor in North Central Nigeria, Abubakar Sani Bello said security has been beefed up in the 12 local government areas affected by activities of terrorists.

The presence of security agents in the affected local government areas has significantly reduced the attacks.

The Governor hopes to address the menace before rainy season starts, to enable people to go back to their homes and farms.

The Niger State Governor also has called for the provision of basic facilities of hundred displaced persons during a recent visit to some IDP Camps in Gwada, Shiroro local government area of the state.

Governor Bello however, assured the people of the government’s unwavering determination in ensuring that displaced people across the state return peacefully to their respective homes.
