Effective leadership has been defined as one that is proactive, flexible, adaptable and consistent.
A group known as Nigerians For Bold Action identified these leadership qualities and said it is hoping to see these come to life as Nigeria prepares for the general elections.
The Chairman, Nigerians For Bold Action Group, Dr. Tofic Ayinde while addressing members of the group at its National General Meeting in Abuja further identified good communication, confidence, resourceful, organisation and consistency as important components of good leadership.
According to Dr. Ayinde, the Nigerians for Bold Action is simply “trying to contribute its quarter to the political atmosphere by changing the narrative in politics”.
Dr. Tofic Ayinde clarified that the meeting was “in preparation for the general election and to strategically position members to remain resolute, harness the diversity in the country in order to fortify and stabilize Nigeria”.
One of the key members of the group, Dr. Yahuza Getso while presenting a paper titled “Combatting Security Situation in Nigeria; The way Forward” Stated that if Nigeria as a nation does not deal with corruption, it can never truly deal with insecurity.
Dr. Yahuza therefore called for the elimination of radical terrorism, strengthening of political will, incorporation of more modern tactics in the fight against terrorism as well as better cooperation with affected communities in order to make the job of securing Nigeria much easier.
The event had as it’s theme: Effective Leadership To Assess Definite Structure Direction.
