Nigerian gospel singer, Chinedu Nwadike dies at 39
Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Prince Chinedu Nwadike has passed away at the age of 39 after suffering from blood cancer.
The “God of vengeance” crooner died on Sunday after undergoing a successful kidney transplant in Abuja.
He was expected to be transferred to India for treatment before his sudden demise.
Confirming Prince Chinedu Nwadike’s death, his friend and President at Darlington Ibekwe Organisation, Darlington Chidera Ibekwe, took to social media, to reveal that the late singer died of blood cancer.
“He lost the blood cancer battle a few hours ago in Abuja. When I spoke to him over the phone last week, he told me he had fully recovered from the kidney issue and would be proceeding to India by this coming week for treatment of the blood cancer – Leukemia.”
Some Nollywood stars like Yul Edochie, Uche Ogbodo, Rita Edochie among others have expressed sadness over the death of Chinedu Nwadike.
