Governor Soludo appoints veteran Nollywood actor as Special Assistant

The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed veteran Nollywood actor, Bob-Manuel Udokwu and seven others as his aides.

A statement by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Paul Nwosu, on Tuesday, said Bob-Manuel was appointed as the Governor’s Special Adviser on Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism.

Other appointments approved by Soludo include Christian Aburime as the Chief Press Secretary.

Chike Anyaonu was appointed as Managing Director, Anambra State Housing Development Corporation while Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata was appointed MD/CEO, ICT Agency.

For the role of MD/CEO, Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency, Soludo named Joe Anatume while Okey Ezeobi was appointed GM/CEO of Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement.

Barr. Tochukwu Nweke was named Special Adviser Legal while Dr Nelson Omenugha got appointed as Special Adviser Youth Empowerment Programme.

Bob-Manuel had previously served as Senior Special Assistant on Creative Media during the administration of Peter Obi, and as an aide to the immediate past governor, Willie Obiano.
