2023 AFCON: Super Eagles complete fixtures released
The Super Eagles will open their qualifying campaign for the 2023 AFCON at home against Sierra Leone and a trip away to Sao Tome and Principe or Mauritius between May 30 and June 14.
In September, it will be a Group A double header against Guinea Bissau with the two matches to be played between September 19 and 27.
The final round of matches will then see the Eagles away in Sierra Leone and then up against Sao Tome or Mauritius at home.

These matches will be played between March 20 and 28th in March 2023.
Mauritius have protested against Sao Tome after alleging that their opponents played an ineligible player in their decisive qualifying game.
Incidentally, the player scored the goal that qualified Sao Tome to the group stage of the competition.
The top two teams from each of the 12 groups will advance to the 2023 AFCON will be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.
