The equities market recorded another day of loss on Tuesday as the market indices dropped by 0.13 percent to make it the second day of loss.
The All-Share index depreciated by 0.13 percent to close at 41,510.16 points being 54.15 basis points lower than Monday’s 41,564.31 points.
In the same vein, the market capitalization declined by N29 billion to close at N21.715 trillion compared to N21.744 trillion on Monday.
At the end of Tuesday’s trading, 305.92 million shares valued at N3.95 billion were traded in 4,969 deals just as the market recorded 23 gainers as well as 23 losers.
Top on the losers’ table was NNFM, which declined by 86k to close at N7.79k, then NEM which lost 23k to close at N2.27k, followed by Nigerins with a loss of 2k to close at 20k.
On the flip side, Linkassure gained 6k to close at 66k, followed by Morison with a gain of 5k to close at 55k and RTBriscoe, which gained 2k to close at 22k.
First Bank of Nigeria Holdings had the biggest volume of trade on Tuesday as it sold 47,762 million shares worth N351,05 million and Guinness was next with 37,244 million shares valued at N732.32 million.
