He added that Nigeria needs a man who understands science and technology.

“He is coming to Nigerians with a knowledgeable economy based on STI- Science, Technology and Innovation.

“Nigeria will move to the next level by having a man who understands the dynamics of the economy,” Egenti said.

Meanwhile, the representatives of the former Ogun State Governor, Amb. Fatina Balila said the Senator’s experience makes him the right person to be president.

He is an accountant, so he knows a lot about the economy.

“So, he has hinged his programme on tackling security because It’s our problem in the country,” Balila said.

A former Governor of Zamfara State, Mahmud Shinkafi, who collected forms on behalf of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, said the former Speaker has the right pedigree to become president.

Shinkafi expressed confidence that his candidate would emerge as the APC flagbearer despite the high number and calibre of people picking the presidential forms.
