2023 Presidency: Nigeria’s Minister of State for Education resigns

Nigeria’s Minister of State for Education, Chuwkuemeka Nwajiuba, who is seeking to run for the 2023 Presidency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has resigned.

He resigned from office on Wednesday in Abuja after the weekly Federal Executive Council Meeting.

An aide to the former Minister confirmed this to Voice of Nigeria.

Nwajiuba’s resignation comes a few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari ordered members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) seeking to vie for any elective position to resign.
