2023 Elections: Governor Tambuwal pledges to tackle insecurity

The Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal says issues of insecurity will be first on his agenda amongst other laid down plans if given the presidential ticket under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party.

Governor Tambuwal made this known during a visit to stakeholders of the party in Jos the Plateau State Capital North Central Nigeria, to solicit for the support of the State delegates at the forthcoming Party Primaries Scheduled to hold on 28th and 29th of May 2022.

Governor Tambuwal who was represented at the event by the Director-General of his campaign council Mr. Tunde Ogbeha said amongst all the qualified and capable presidential Aspirant Tambuwal remains the most qualified and experienced to become Nigeria’s next president. “He has experience in the legislature having being a law maker for 12 years, The Executive as a governor for almost eight years and the Judiciary as lawyer by profession, who else to better lead this Nation with these wealth of experience? “ He added.

He said the Tambuwal Administration if elected administration will provide the necessary security to enable farmers and other well meaning Nigerians go back to thier farms and enjoy a normal life devoid of fear. “I will tackle the security problems of this country in such a way that peace will be revived, farmers can go to the farm and everybody will live in peace”

He on behalf of Governor Tambuwal, called on both the statutory and ad-hoc delegates to support him at the party’s convention with thier votes.

In his response, the Party Chairman in the State Mr. Chris Hassan, thanked Governor Tambuwal and his team for finding them worthy to be recognised.

He described Governor Tambuwal as a man of peace and honand a true Nigerian who has demonstrated his love for Plateau in various ways. He assured and prayed for the needed support for Governor Tambuwal to be the next president of the Country and also thanked Mr. Ogbeha for the role he played in resolving the crises the
