The 2019 Presidential Flag Bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Major General John Gbor has picked his nomination and indication of interest forms to join the 2023 presidential race.
Major General Gbor seized the opportunity to call on members of APGA, to support the new National Chairman of the party, Mr Edozie Njoku, to build the party to a lofty height.
He made the call after a Supreme Court judgment declared Njoku as the National Chairman of the party.
The party has been in leadership tussle by the Njoku led faction and Dr. Victor Oyeh led faction.
Major General Gbor noted that Mr Njoku’s leadership has the capacity to accommodate every member of the party “who seek reconciliation and are willing to do the right thing”.
He called on aggrieved members of the party to obey the Supreme Court’s judgment and support the leadership of Mr Edozie Njoku and lead the party to victory in the 2023 General Election in the country describing the party as a national political party and not a regional party.
