2023: APC Southeast Presidential aspirants pledge to support Igbo candidate

Presidential aspirants from the Southeast region of Nigeria in the governing All Progressives Congress, APC have pledged to support any Southeast aspirant that emerges as the party’s flag bearer for the 2023 General Election in the country.

The aspirants made this known in a press statement jointly signed by all of them after they held a meeting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

The APC Presidential aspirants from the Southeast that signed the statement include, immediate part Minister of Science and Technology Ogbonnaya Onu, a Former Senate President Senator Ken. Nnamani, Mrs Uju Ken Ohanenye, the Governor of Ebonyi state, Dave Umahi, past Minister of state, Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Former Minister of Information Ikeobasi Molukwu.

They appreciated Nigerians for their commitment to the unity and inclusion of every region of the country.

That the President of the federal republic of Nigeria and the All Progressive Congress and Its National Working Committee as well the teaming members of the party are commended by the entire people of the southeast on their avowed commitment to the unity of Nigeria and the inclusion of all parts of Nigeria In the governance architecture of the country.

“That we commend all Nigerians who are committed to the Nigerian project by the whole hearted support of the aspiration of the south east to produce the next Nigerian president in 2023.

“That in furtherance of these commitment all aspirants here commits to align with any of the south east aspirants that is accepted by and chosen by other Nigerians to fly the APC flag” the statement read.
