Council Chairman wins Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency APC Primary

The incumbent Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Ebonyi State in Southern Nigeria, Clement Odah has emerged the winner of the House of Representatives primary for Ohaukwu/Ebonyi Federal constituency.
Odah won his rival Nwachukwu Eze with 139 votes to become the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the election in 2023.
Announcing the result of the election, the returning officer, Christopher Okey, who led an authentic electoral panel from National APC Secretariat, Abuja, said that “Number of delegates in Ohaukwu is 75, number of delegates in Ebonyi is 65.”
He further disclosed that “the number of delegates for the primary was 140 while those accredited were 139.”
Two votes were not valid while one of the delegates was absent.
Barrister Clement Odah commended the process of the election and appreciated the delegates for counting on him.
