The Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum has commended the Theatre Commander Joint Taskforce (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) Major General Christopher Musa and his troops for their resilience and doggedness in the fight against insurgents.
The Governor who gave the commendation when he visited the Headquarters, Theatre Command OPHK on Friday 27 May 2022, also applauded the Commander and his troops for the tremendous achievements recorded so far in the North East Theatre.
Professor Babagana expressed immense satisfaction with the Command of Operation HADIN KAI stating that the level of improvement in its operational activities was evidently seen in the state of commercial activities and the aura of tranquility that has engulfed the North East and Borno State in particular.
The Theatre Commander Major General Christopher Musa while responding, appreciated the Governor for the visit which he said serves as a morale booster to his Officers and Men to spur them to do more in the ongoing fight against insurgency.
General Christopher therefore assured the Governor that the Command would continue to work in synergy with the State Government and other critical stake holders to complend the activities of the Boko Haram Terrorists and their Islamic State of West African Province counterpart in order to restore total peace in the State.
Present during the visit was the Deputy Theatre Commander Operation HADIN KAI Major General IM Jallo, the General Officer Commanding 7 Division Nigerian Army and Commander sector 1 Operation HADIN KAI Major General Waidi Shaibu, Component Commanders, the Chief of Staff Headquarters Theatre Command and Principal Staff Officers of Headquarters Theatre Command.
