Boot Party declares two winners for House of Representatives

A political party in Nigeria called Boot Party in its primaries conducted in Abuja the nation’s capital has declared Mr. Kabiru Umar the winner in unopposed primaries.
The party’s returning officer, Usman Turaki who declared Kabiru Umar the winner said it was an unopposed and affirmation primary as Umar is now the candidate of the party that will be standing election for the Kwali, Gwagwalada, Kuje, and Abaji Federal House of Representatives in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The party returning officer Mr. Usman Mustapha has also declared Thomas Izah winner of the Bwari, Amac Federal constituency in an unopposed party primary to become the sole candidate of the party to contest the 2023 general election.
Monitoring
The primaries was monitored by Mr. Effiong Afaha, an official from the Independent National Electoral Commission FCT, Abuja.
Meanwhile, presidential primaries are ongoing in all the 36 states including FCT through Electronic Voting (E-Voting), the presidential primaries is expected to end by 2pm today 7th June, 2022.
