The National Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Professor Rufai Ahmed Alkali says the Party wants to bring peace back to the troubled zones in Nigeria as it aims for the highest political office in 2023.

Professor Alkali called on all party members to represent the good image of the party in their various zones.

He was speaking in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital during the Party’s National Convention and Presidential Primary.

He said the unnecessary hate and fighting in the country must be addressed immediately so that focus can be on what matters which is building a viable nation that can compete favourably on any stage in the world.

” The insecurity in the country must also be resolved immediately, we must restore our business, our school system, our health care system so that Nigerians will be more proud, happy and secure and we’ll make sure that the new government coming under NNPP address these problems frontally,” Dr. Alkali said.

Professor Alkali further stated that the education system is also an area of concern as students have been out of school for far too long which can present a heavy burden in the future if not well handled.
