The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu says the Federal Ministry of Education is liaising with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to secure placement for the Nigerian students who returned from Ukraine.
The Minister stated this in Abuja while speaking to Journalists on the status of Nigerian students in Ukraine.
According to him, the Ministry is interfacing with the foreign Affairs to harvest information on the students and sort for placement for them in the Nigerian University system.

“The Ministry of Education had written to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to get information on the returned students, to interface through the NUC to see how to make placement for them.”
The Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education, Mr. David Adejo, spoke on behalf of the Minister.
It would be recalled that More than 1,300 Nigerian citizens were evacuated from Ukraine since Russia launched its war against Ukraine on February 24.
Some of the students who fled to neighbouring countries like Poland and Romania for safety, were evacuated by the Nigerian government.
