Kaduna State government in North west Nigeria, says it will continue to make concerted efforts to attract investors to the state.
The Acting Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe made the pledge at the economic development council quarterly business breakfast with investors in Kaduna.
She said the interaction was an avenue for investors to meet with government officials to discuss areas of further collaborations.
According to her, the state has since embraced digital technology to ease doing business, stressing that, government is bringing on board, young residents to key into the growing digital economy in the state.
Dr. Hadiza therefore urged prospective investors to liaise with the Kaduna State Investment and Promotion Agency KADIPA for smoth business activities.
Meanwhile, the Executive Secretary, KADIPA, Malam Khalil Nura Khalil disclosed that despite the security and other economic challenges, the state government has expanded its investment portfolio by N1.1 billion from September last year to the first quarter of this year.
He explained that, most of the investments were in the agriculture sector, the green agro-allied industrial zone and the green economic zone.
