Eid-El-Kabir: Muslim Cleric Prays for Permanent Peace in Nigeria

The Chief Imam of Abakaliki Central Mosque in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria, Alhaji Mohammed Aminu has prayed for permanent Peace in all nooks and crannies of the Country.
Alhaji Aminu made this prayer which marked 2022 Eid Mubarak; calling on all Nigerians to turn back to God as he is the only one that has the solution to the problems facing the country.
In his Salah message, he said “whether you are a Christian or Muslim, we should all return to God and make peace with him, by doing that, God will have mercy on us”
“Don’t cheat one another and try to avoid corruption in any form” He added.
The Imam urged all and sundry to live in accordance with God’s rules.
On his part, the Sarkin of the Hausa Community in Ebonyi State, Alhaji Danjuma Gambo said the only thing that can stabilize Nigeria is peace.
Gambo, therefore called on everyone to work towards achieving peace at all costs.
“If you look at what is happening, you will know that Nigeria has suffered setbacks. The issue of Terrorism, Banditry and kidnapping have become the order of the day’’. He stated.
He thanked Nigeria Government for their efforts so far to restore peace in the Country.
The Sarkin equally thanked Ebonyi State Government for the Peace they enjoy in the state.
