NAESI urges Edo indegenes to vote for qualitative leadership

As Nigerians prepare for general election in 2023,  Edo State indegenes across the country have been advised to identify and vote  for a leaders that can deliver good governance, ensure security and qualitative leadership to the people.

The Director -General of Edo State Laision Office in Abuja, Dr. Festus Osaigbovo gave the advice at the unveiling of the National Association of Edo State Indegenes, NAESI, in Abuja.

Dr. Osaigbovo called on Nigerians to close ranks and work for a stable and prosperous nation that could overcome its current turbulence.

The purpose of this meeting is to rub minds together and to have an association that can compete nationally with other associations in the country. The constitution and registration of the Corporate Affairs Commission had been completed” said Dr Osaigbovo.

 ” The journey to the formation of the association which aimed at uniting the state indigenes started long time ago and it has been recognised by the state government” he added.

Dr Osaigbovo urged Edo State indigenes to be united to fulfil their common destiny.

A certificate of registration has been issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the association has its own constitution because it needed a document to guide its activities” the Director-General said.

The  highlight of the meeting is the selection and adoption of the members of the Board of Trustees, chaired by Chief John Okonedo.
