President Muhammadu Buhari has met behind closed doors with Senator Kashim Shettima, the running mate of the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, at the State House, Abuja.
Shettima was accompanied to the State House by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State on Wednesday, shortly after Shettima was unveiled by the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu had announced Shettima as his running mate while briefing journalists after a closed-door meeting with President Buhari at Daura, Katsina State, last week.
Shettima, a former two-term Governor of Borno, is currently the Senator representing Borno Central in the National Assembly.
