2022 Nigerian W.H.O winner Sensitizes youth Corpers against Tobacco

The founder and president of the Eye-Opener Women and Youth Foundation, Mrs Margaret Julius who is equally the winner of the 2022 World No Tobacco Day (WNTD), Award has embarked on sensitising thousands of Nigerian youth corpers on harmful effects of cigarette smoking across the country.
Mrs Margaret Julius is targeting over 20 thousands annually with the aims of raising more awareness to youths and women in the country.
During a one day program at NYSC camp in kaduna, one minute silent was observed for the Late President of Nigeria Alh Umaru and others on the role they play in the fight against cigerate smoking.
Margeret said, “I made it known to the Corpers that there is no- advantage of smoking cigarettes Tobacco, simply because it’s Kill and it’s still killings millions of youths and Others across the planet.”
According to her, “We have created numbers of tobacco abstinence clubs at both private and public schools in Kaduna so as to take the campaigns to the young at the school environment.
“The foundation has promised to produce mass -Jacket to corpers to demonstrate the NO TOBACCO campaigns at the places of their service.”
It could be recalled that since the inception of the Eye-Opener Women and Youth Foundation in 2009, more than 500 adolescents and youth across communities in three states: Adamawa, Kaduna and Plateau State have been sensitized to quit smoking
An outgoing Corpers Esther Umoh who has been working in the Tobacco Abstinence Club draw the attention of corpers to always Sensitizes youth and women in the community they find them on harmful effects of cigarette smoking and other drugs substance.
