Chairman, board of truestees of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Walid Jibrin has resigned from his position.
Jabirn’s resignation happened a short while ago as the members of Board of Truestees are meeting in Wadata House, headquarters of the PDP.
Who takes over from Walid Jibrin is still unclear.
His resignation is not unconnected with the crisis rocking the PDP since its Presidential primary earlier in the year.
What is yet to be decided is the position of the National Chairman, Iyorcha Ayu.
Ayu’s fate will be clear after the National Working Committee meeting that is schedule hold later in the day.
