2023: Nasarawa Lawmaker receives over 300 APGA supporters into APC

Honourable Abdullahi Angibi, a member representing Lafia Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House Of Assembly, has received over 300 members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) into his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his constituency.

Hon. Angibi, also the House Committee on Public Accounts Chairman, received the defectors into APC during a reception organised in his honour which took place at LSB Primary School Agyaragu, Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

He has assured the defectors of equal treatment while urging them and other people of the constituency to work for the victory of APC come 2023 and beyond.

The lawmaker also urged the people of his community not to allow anyone to deceive them into voting for other political parties apart from the ruling APC.

“APC has all that it takes to take you all to the promised land.

” His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, has performed well and is still performing. Let us all work tirelessly for his re-election, my re-election, and all other APC candidates to win come 2023.

“I have also embarked on the construction of boreholes and provision of other social amenities, provided employments, empowerment of my constituents, among other gestures. 

” I will consolidate on my laudable achievements if voted for the second tenure in office come 2023,” he said

He promised to lobby the state government to establish a hospital in the Agyaragu community to meet their health needs and ensure the completion of some ongoing projects.

The Assemblyman encouraged members of the party in the area to work in unity and vote for all candidates of APC in the next year’s election.

Also, An APC stalwart in the area, Alhaji Saleh Asiri, and ECDA Chairman of Agyaragu, Mr. Joseph Apla, all said that Hon. Angibi has done well, hence the need for the people of the constituency to re-elect him to come in 2023.

They said that the lawmaker deserves a second tenure for him to do more for the people of his constituency and to enable their people to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

In their separate submissions, the Conveners of the program, Mr. Augustine Akpu and Mr. Emmanuel Ayuba said they had organised the event to appreciate Hon Angibi for his many contributions to the development of the Agyaragu community. They also assured him of their total support for his victory in the 2023 election.

Voice of Nigeria’s correspondent reports that the program’s highlight was the award presentation to the senator representing Nasarawa South, Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura, for his contributions to the development of the area, which was received on his behalf by Hon. Angibi.

The event had a massive turnout of people as Hon. Angibi also received over 300 people from APGA who defected to the ruling APC to endorse him, and 12 different political groups unveiled five billboards donated by various groups.
