Ex-Remo Stars striker Rafiu unveiled by NK Maribor

Former Remo Stars striker Rafiu Ishaq Kayode has joined Slovenian club NK Maribor.

The 22-year old signed a three-year contract with the Eastern European club side.

“I’m excited to be here finally. It took a very long time, but I am happy that I became part of NK Maribor,” he said.

“This is indeed another step in my journey to be a great player, I will give my best and help my team to achieve greatness.”

Rafiu has joined his team mates in training.

He was formerly under the books of NPFL side Rivers United- helping them to the 2022 league title.
