‘Africa Celebrates’ festival set to hold in Addis Ababa

The 2022 edition of the African cultural festival, ‘Africa Celebrates’ is billed to hold from the 19th to 21st of October in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

 

According to Lexy Mojo-Eyes, President/CEO of Legendary Gold Limited and one of the organizers said that, “this is the biggest cultural festival in Africa. Last year, we welcomed participants from 30 African countries and eleven countries outside the continent. This year, we are expecting the involvement of more countries”. he said.

 

 

Africa Celebrates is aimed at celebrating Africa’s unity in diversity, foster integration through its rich cultural heritage which can be explored as a catalyst for social economic growth, promote intra and inter African trade and tourism and encourage Africans and the rest of world to patronize “Made in Africa” food, clothes and music.

 

 

This year’s edition will begin on the 19th of October then the ‘Africa Talks Business & Investment Forum’ will hold. Agendas that will encourage and accelerate trade and investment activities for individuals, governments and private organizations in the continent will be discussed.

 

 

It will culminate into signing of MOUs for bilateral and multilateral trade and investment deals which will be intercontinental and intracontinental in nature. Africa Fashion Business Summit will take place on the 20th of October, where fashion entrepreneurs from all over Africa will discuss the business of fashion and all its value chain with the theme ‘‘Promoting Manufacturing in Africa as a Tool for Job Creation”.

 

The event ends on the 21st of October with a gala fashion event, where fashion designers from all over Africa will be showcasing their rich dress culture.
