In his remark, the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwumma Soludo emphasized that history is important in the lives of a people, a reason for the state government’s effort in reintroducing history as a subject in secondary schools.

The traditional ruler of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, who called for conscious efforts in promoting the Igbo culture and traditions in school, especially at the basic level, said students must be encouraged to know their traditions and culture and be proud of them.
The chief launcher of the books, Chief Nathan Ogbatue, represented by his brother, Ifeanyi called on the ethnic group to know their origin
The traditional ruler of Umuawulu, Igwe Joel Egwuonwu, and the Chairman of Governing Board, Anambra Waste Management Authority, ASWAMA, Dr Emma Ezewaji noted that the books will contribute to the knowledge of Igbo history, and recommended them to those who are interested in the Igbo history and origin.
