The National Population Commission, NPC, in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency, NOA, has held a road show to sensitise Nigerians on the 2023 Population and Housing Census.
The Chairman of the National Population Commission in Nigeria Mr. Nasir Kwarra said the Road walk is meant to create “advocacy and publicity.”
Mr Kwarra also said that the “purpose of the NPC partnership with NOA as espoused by this roadshow is to deepen the already established collaboration towards an aggressive mobilisation of Nigerians and FCT residents for the next census.”
He further said that “the collaboration with the NOA is the start of many collaborations and partnerships in the implementation of advocacy and publicity activities for the 2023 Census.”
In his response the Director General of the National Orientation Agency in Nigeria, NOA, Dr. Garba Abari said the agency has an existing structure that disseminates information to the grassroots.
