A Non-Governmental Organisation, Mighty Minds Africa, (MMA) has called on Nigerian youths to be more resourceful and make good use of time available to them to become community leaders and contributors to the structural transformation of the African society.

The Founder and Executive Director of organisation, Ifunanya Enezuagu made the call in Enugu at its’ second Youth Empowerment Summit with the theme “BUILDING SUSTAINABLE FUTURES FOR YOUTH IN THE DIGITAL ERA”.

The conference was designed to usher youth into new experiences and provide resources and access to ideas and platforms to learn new skills and methods of use in the digital economy.

It had in attendance over 100 youths drawn from mostly secondary and tertiary institutions within Enugu state.

One of the keynote speakers, Hon. Chima Obieze, a member of the Enugu state House of Assembly, urged participants to take advantage of what they would learn from the summit and improve on the standards of their livelihoods.

Participants at the event, Mr. Chimaobi Ani and Miss Rosemary Unegbu said that at the end of the programme, they would have learnt the principles of social entrepreneurship and the power of community service to help elevate their financial status.

Mighty Minds Africa (MMA) works to elevate African youth to create opportunities and solutions to challenges in education, skills acquisition, employment and community issues by creating a supercharged environment focused on holistic development, social entrepreneurship, and direct employment outcomes that act as a catalyst for youth to pursue their ideas with confidence.
