The crisis rocking the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, Kano state North Western Nigeria has been resolved by the state governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
The majority leader House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa stated this on Tuesday in Kano State.
The party in recent days has been engulfed in crisis as Ado Doguwa representingTudun the Wada/Doguwa federal constituency, and Murtala Sule Garo, APC deputy gubernatorial candidate engaged in a battle of uncomplimentary words.
Doguwa said after 5 hours meeting, “His Excellency, Governor Ganduje, reconciled Murtala Sule Garo, and me.
“The meeting was attended by Nasiru Aliko Koki and the state APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, and the meeting started at 11 pm on Monday up to 4 am today. “
“We reviewed the crisis and apologised to each other. The governor told us kind words. He showed each of us where we are wrong. He offered advice and said he considers us as his two sons.”
He stressed that he has put the matter behind him and forging ahead to continue his commitment toward the success of APC in Kano and the country a large in the 2023 general elections.
“We have resolved to bury the hatchet, and I will continue my support to the success of APC in 2023. I will continue to support Gawuna/Garo, Tinubu/Shettima, and APC at all levels in 2023″.
Doguwa said he has forgiven Garo and all other party members that offended him. He called on them to also forgive him including the entire Kano people and supporters of APC in the state.
