The Permanent Secretary of Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mr Olusade Adesola says residents in Abuja are guided by laws
Adesola, stated this when he received the Speaker and some principal officers of the Ondo State House of Assembly, that paid him a courtesy visit to his office, Garki I District, Abuja on Wednesday
He said the FCT Administration under the leadership of the FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello, ensures that all its actions are in tandem with the provisions of the law while describing Abuja as a product of legislation, guided in all its conducts and operations by the extant rules and regulations governing it.
The Permanent Secretary while commending the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun and his entourage for the visit, said he is prepared to give back to his community where he was natured and taught the virtue of discipline and dedication to duty.
He advised Nigerians, who are well-placed in society to always think and act in the interest of the masses, especially the downtrodden.
Adesola recalled the food items released from the strategic grains reserve by President Muhammadu Buhari as palliatives for distribution to the less privileged in Ondo State and noted that he ensured that the poor people in the state were the beneficiaries of the scheme.
According to him, as a public officer, he places a high premium on issues affecting the masses and commended the FCT Minister for always standing with the poor in all policies of the FCT Administration.
The Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly and leader of the delegation, Bamidele Oleyelogun, said members of the 9th Ondo State Assembly were in Abuja to establish a relationship with the FCT Administration and see some of the good work it has been doing.
He commended the FCT Administration for the provision and maintenance of standard infrastructure in Abuja, saying that the environment is peaceful.
The Speaker said the Ondo State House of Assembly is proud to be associated with the leadership of the FCT Administration, starting from their own, the Permanent Secretary, to the FCT Minister, to whom he paid glowing tribute for spearheading the generational change.
Oleyelogun was accompanied on the visit by the Majority and Minority Leaders, some members as well as the Clark of the State House of Assembly.
