NAFEST 2022: Lagos State Unveils 37 wonders of Nigeria

The Deputy governor Lagos state Mr. Femi Hamzat, has unveiled the 37 wonders of Nigeria as the 35th NAFEST comes to an end.

The 37 wonders of Nigeria is the rich tourism destinations found in the in the 36 states of the federation and the federal capital Territory Abuja.

In his closing remarks, the Deputy governor said the lessons learnt from this year’s NAFEST is that it is important for Nigerians to understand their different cultures and work together to build a better Nigeria.

“While it is almost impossible not to have our differences, considering the multiplicity of our culture and languages as Nigerians, we must always follow the path of dialogue and other non-violent approach in resolving potential issues capable of igniting violence”. He says

Mr. Hamzat appealed to all participants at the event to continue to imbibe the good virtues learnt through the platform of this year’s NAFEST and also share these good lessons with their kinsmen in your respective States.

On his own part, the Chief organiser of NAFEST 2022 who is the Director General National Council for Art and Culture Mr. Olusegun Runsewe appreciated Lagos state government for being a great host.

He also acknowledged all the participating states for being part of Eko NAFEST 2022.

“When I say Lagos is special I have my reasons. Rivers state alone came with 1000 contingents, it has never happened. I was initially worried but they told me no need to worry because they were will empowered by the government of Rivers state, which is a high economic benefits to Lagos State . Also Kaduna state cane with 600 delegates and Ogun State came with about 600 this means we really love ourselves in this country Nigeria”. Mr. Runsewe concluded

The high point of the event is awards to the best participants and certificate of participation where also given to all states that participated at the event.
