The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has honoured the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board with an award of excellence for its outstanding organizing performance during 2022 hajj operations.
The Commission made this known during this year’s Post Hajj stakeholders’ meeting which was held at the national mosque auditorium in Abuja.
According to the Commission, the award was presented to the board in recognition of the outstanding performance in the constitution of the state’s committee during the 2022 Hajj exercise.
The Kwara State Chairman of the board, Abdulkadir Sambaki who received the award expressed his profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for the achievement
He described the recognition as a pride to the members and staff of the Board and Kwara state at large.
Sambaki also showed his appreciation to the State Governor, Abdul Rahman Abdulrazaq for creating an enabling environment for the Board to operate during the Hajj operations.
