Wife of Kwara State Governor Commends Hairdressers for Embarking on Secretariat Complex Project

The First Lady of Kwara State and Founder Ajike People Support Center, Ambassador  Olufolake Abdulrazaq has commended the state Chapter of the  National Association of hairdressers and cosmetologists  for embarking on their Secretariat Complex project.

Ambassador Abdulrazaq during the Association’s annual exhibition 2022 and fundraising for the completion of their Secretariat enjoined members to sustain their support for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

She said that the administration was committed to ensuring that businesses continue to thrive in the State.

As hair stylists and beauticians, the first lady said their profession was noble and as such, her office and the Ajike People Support Center was open to collaborate with the association as well as continuing to support them.

It would be recalled that the Ajike People Support Center has trained women and youth in Make Up and Make Over and presented work tools to beneficiaries to start them off as part of the center’s skills acquisition and empowerment programmes.

Earlier, the President of the National Assciation of hairdressers and cosmetologists Kwara State, Mrs. Monsurat Bolanle Badmus appreciated Governor  Abdulrazaq for initiatives that support small businesses and thanked the First Lady for her support to the Association.

The event was witnessed by members of the State executive council, the president of Kwara State artisan council and notable entrepreneurs across the state.
