Governor AbdulRazaq celebrates newly conferred Senior Advocates from Kwara state

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the eight newly conferred Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) from the state, describing their feats as a great honour to the state and to their families.

 

 

The governor’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye at Ilorin, the state capital.

 

“My hearty congratulations go to the newest learned silks and their families. We are, indeed, proud of their achievements. I pray the Almighty God to grant them long life, good health and more fulfilling years of professional excellence in the service of our fatherland,” the Governor said.

 

While describing them as exemplary figures, Governor AbdulRazaq called on the young ones to emulate their hardwork.

 

 “Their attainment of the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria is a clear testament to their brilliance, hard work, discipline, good character and adherence to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession in Nigeria. It is a strong signal to the younger ones that hard work, consistency and good ethics pay,” the Governor said.

 

 

The new learned skills were sworn in today, November 28, 2022, by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, (CJN) Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.

 

The new SANs from Kwara state are: Alhaji Abubakar Bature Sulu-Gambari, Prof. Muhammed Taofeeq Abdulrazaq; Bar. Wahab Kunle Shittu; Bar. Oladipo Akanmu Tolani; Bar. Lukman Oyebanji Fagbemi; Bar. Mumini Ishola Hanafi; Dr. Doyin Awoyale; and Bar. Rotimi Oyedepo.
