A Former Social Democratic Party (SDP) Presidential aspirant in Nigeria say’s The Gbagyi Ethnic Group in North Central Nigeria are fully in support of the planned inauguration of the incoming President of Nigeria Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on the 29th Of May,2023.
Her Excellency, Cesnabmihilo Nuhu-Aken’ova , presently a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) and National Coordinator of All-Inclusive Movement for Bola Tinubu, stated this during the National Gbagyi day celebration at the Unity Fountain square Abuja Nigeria’s Capital.
Ms Dorothy who further congratulated Bola Tinubu The President elect of Nigeria,and His Vice Alhaji Kashim Shettima for overwhemly wining the 2023 Presidential elections, mentioned that Gbagyi people the dominant ethnic group in Abuja Nigeria’s Capital City, organized the the Gbagyi Day to counter narrative and unequivocally dissociate themselves against halting the inauguration of Bola Tinubu as the elected president of Nigeria.
“We convened this Gbagyi Day to counter the narrative and inequivocally dissociate ourselves from some sore losers who have taken to the courts claiming to represent the residents of the FCT in a suit to halt the inauguration of Bola Tinubu.” added Ms Nuhu
She said the Gbagyi’s, who are a significant population co-hosting the FCT and also constitute a significant residential population within the FCT, have come to openly express their total solidarity to the President Elect and the incoming administration.
“The indigenous Gbagyi’s across the Country and in diaspora have positioned ourselves strategically for partnership with the incoming President Elect and his administration”.
Her Excellency Dorothy Nuhu , further assured the President Elect, that the swearing in ceremony and the inauguration of Bola Tinubu as the President of Nigeria and Ruling Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will hold on 29th May as scheduled and the enemies of democracy will be put to shame.
“Tinubu’s administration enjoys the full support of Gbagyis and Nigerians”.
The convener of the Tinubu hangout, Mr. Tosin Adeyanju, in his remarks vowed to continue the solidarity hangout campaign until the eve of the handing over ceremony,
