Ebonyi State Governor Seeks Collaborative efforts To Build Better Children

The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi has sought collaborative efforts to train better children who will be of good morals and to take over the leadership of Nigeria in the future.

The Governor made this Plea during the 2023 Children’s Day at Pa Township Stadium  Abakaliki the State Capital.

The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kenneth Ugbala said all the necessary law has been signed into law to protect the rights of all the children in the State.

“If we train better children today, we will have good leaders tomorrow”, he said.

The State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Deborah Okah said, ” Today Ebonyi Children are joining their counterparts in the world to celebrate this feast, I urge everybody to join hands in preserving the dignity of Ebonyi Children and Nigeria at large.

On his part, the Speaker of the Children’s Parliament in the State, Mr Victor Nnanna called on Government to provide stringent measures to checkmate the violation of the rights of Children.

Nnanna thanked Ebonyi State Government for the favorable laws for the children in the State.
