NPFL Super 6: Enyimba Secures Victory Against Lobi Stars

Former League Champions, Enyimba International secured its first win in the ongoing Nigeria Premier League Super 6 on Monday after a narrow 1-0 victory over Lobi Stars.

The game which was played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena witnessed an end to end fireworks from both sides as they tried to outwit one another.

The People’s Elephant got the much-needed goal in the 16th minute through a header from the league’s top scorer Emeka Obioma as the first ended with Enyimba in front.

Lobi Stars came into the second half stronger but could not break down the Enyimba side who seems to be better in terms of defending.

All the efforts of Lobi Stars to secure the equaliser proved abortive as Enyimba ran away with a 1-0 victory at the end of the day. Enyimba have garnered 4 points from two matches following their 2-2 draw with Remo Stars on Saturday.
