Democracy Day: Nasarawa State Speaker solicits support for Government

In commemoration of the 2023 Democracy Day celebration in Nigeria, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Balarabe Abdullahi has tasked citizens to support their leaders at all levels and give Government the maximum support to deliver for the people.

In a statement by the Press Secretary to the Speaker, Jibrin Gwamna, the Speaker describes the day as unique and historic in the journey of the nation and worth celebrating.

The Nasarawa State number three citizen felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi Sule and the nation on this year’s democracy day celebration.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi, while assuring that the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly under his watch will continue to do its best in ensuring that the much-needed dividends of democracy are provided to the people, hailed and acknowledged the giant contributions of the nation’s founding fathers who he said their efforts will never go in vain.

He called on citizens to keep hope alive, support government and leaders at all levels to succeed and continue to pray for the nation to overcome its security, economic and other challenges for the benefit of all.
