Kaduna State House Of Assembly Appoints New Principal Officers

Kaduna State House of Assembly has approved the appointment of new principal officers for effective service delivery.

The Speaker of the Tenth Kaduna House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman Dahiru disclosed this during the house plenary in Kaduna.

According to him, honourable Ahmed Mohammed of Zaria Kawaye constituency would serve as the Majority Leader, while Munira Suleiman Tanimu, representing Lere East constituency will deputize as Deputy Majority Leader.

Mr Ali Kalat who is a member representing Jemaa constituency will serve as the Minority Leader, while Shehu Abubakar from Magajin Gari Constituency will be the Deputy Minority Leader.

Others include Lawal Aminu representing Doka Gabasawa constituency who is the new Chief Whip and Mohammed Alhassan from Ikara constituency the minority whip.

Jamilu Abubakar from Basawa constituency is the new Deputy Chief Whip while Yusuf Mugu representing Kaura Constituency will be the Deputy Minority Whip.

The speaker also announced selection committee members to serve in selecting house-relevant committees to hasten legislative activities.
