The NNPC Ltd via its official Twitter handle disclosed on Wednesday, July 5 2023 that the Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari will speak in a roundtable conversation on ‘Eradicating Energy Poverty.’
The Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari met with the Saudi Arabia Minister of Petroleum, Prince Abdulaziz Bn Salman, on the sidelines of the 2023 OPEC Seminar.
He tweeted that they discussed areas of collaboration and support in the energy sector
The NNPC was established on 1 April 1977 as a merger of the Nigerian National Oil Corporation and the Federal Ministry of Petroleum and Energy Resources.
It was formerly a Nigerian government-owned corporation and was transformed from a corporation to a limited liability company in July 2022.
