The United Nations Habitat Ambassador, and the Secretary-General of Nigeria Youth Congress, Dr. Raymond Edoh has advised the youth not to relent in their hope for a better country.
Dr Edoh gave the charge during his conferment and endorsement as a member of the International Chartered World Learners Society in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Responding to his conferment as a Life Fellow of the “International World Chartered Learned Society,” Dr Edoh, said that the award is a rededication to Nigeria as a nation and to the youth who are the catalyst to nation development.
“To the Youths of Nigeria, I dedicate this award to us, we must not relent in our hope, hope has become a must for every human being so long as you are alive, hope is automatic to you and anything can happen so long as you have that hope. I want to use this to recreate hope in us again that in our various endeavours, field and Professionalism, we should work to see how we can lift our nation. Culture and tradition define a person and these two are motivators for what I do, so embrace it,” he said.
He also pledged his unwavering resolve to champion the cause of the people as well as partner with International organizations in areas that require urgent interventions, especially in the education sector.
The Representative of the International Chartered World Learners Society, who is also the Vice Chancellor, Crown University, Argentina, Professor. Bashiru Aremu, said the
organization’s mission is to celebrate scholars like Dr. Raymond who are exceptional in their field of expertise.
He also explained that “the organization has carried out due diligence and research on the recipient, based on his antecedents especially in the field of international relations, Raymond deserves not just to be a member but a LIFE member whose membership needs no renewal,” he explained.
In his good will message, the Chief Executive Officer of ASQ an International Construction Organization, Mr. Samson Adeosun said one of the biggest attributes of Dr. Raymond Edoh is “Integrity”. Giving a brief insight into the recipient’s biography, he described him as selfless and a generous giver whose generosity extends to all.
The International Chartered World Learners Society is an organization that celebrates and encourage excellence in scholarly Disciplines and promotes the advancement of learning.
