In a significant development for Niger Tornadoes football club, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in Niger State, North Central Nigeria has inaugurated a new committee to lead the team.
The ceremony, held at the Tornadoes conference hall, Niger State was chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Hamza Bello.
During the inauguration, Bello warmly congratulated the newly appointed committee members and called upon them to exhibit unwavering commitment and proactiveness in their responsibilities.
According to him, the main objective is to propel the state’s beloved football club forward in the premier league.
The committee’s responsibility is to oversee the affairs of the Minna-based football club.
Speaking on behalf of the new chairman, Hon. Adamu Aliyu, the vice chairman, Engineer Ibrahim Dada, expressed gratitude to the Ministry and the State Government for entrusting them with the responsibility to steer the club. He assured Nigerlites and the Ministry of their determination to garner support and work relentlessly to achieve success for the Tornadoes in the upcoming season, set to kick off in August with Minna as their home ground for matches.

Usman Garba: Transfer Matching System
Usman Garba Kuta: Media Officer
Yahaya Umar: Welfare Officer
Usman Alfa: Team Manager
Shehu Adamu Kagara: Marketing and Sponsorship
Shehu Aliyu Kwatu: Coordinator
Other members of the committee include:
Mustapha Mohammed: Secretary
Salihu Abubakar Gwam: Accountant
Mohammed Dodo Abdullahi: [No specific role mentioned]
